Well, the day finally came (dreaded for me, highly anticipated for Jessalyn): the first day of SECOND GRADE.

My baby girl is growing up!
Jessalyn has a wonderful second grade teacher and still loves and looks forward to school. She is sunshine and rainbows all the time...what a wonderful, enviable attitude to have! It's going to be a great year!

Ok, I cannot believe Jess is back in school already as the children up here do not go back till after the Labour Day weekend.
She is an absolute gem and is brimming with sunshine! You must be both thrilled and a little sad that your little girl is growing up so quickly, especially when you compare those pix!
Yay for her and her BFF being in the same class for 2nd Grade!

She looks so grown-up!!! The kids here go back tomorrow, and it's kind of sad for us, as Miss K will not be joining her friends in preschool. We're likely going to homeschool her, and in any event, I think she's learning more here at home than in the programs around here.
