The Tooth Fairy is Coming!

I can't believe it. My baby lost her first tooth! It's been wiggly for
a month. And then tonight, while eating a carrot, she said she hurt it.
I checked it and found that it was just about ready to come out!
Jessalyn tried to pull it herself, but couldn't get a good grip. Then her
Daddy tried, but his fingers were too big. I was too chicken (I didn't want
to hurt her!). So she tried again, and with no fanfare at all, she pulled it
right out, and it didn't even hurt! She's very excited and oh, so proud.
She couldn't stop smiling, and I've got the pictures to prove it.
Jessalyn decided that she should write the Tooth Fairy a note. It reads,
"Dear Tooth Fairy, this is my first tooth. Love, Jessalyn" and includes a
portrait of Jessalyn, the Tooth Fairy (the small, flying creature with
wings and large hands), and the evicted tooth. If you see her or talk to
her on the phone, don't tell her you heard about the tooth coming out...
let her tell you herself, because she can't wait to share the news!

Pretty in Pink

It was c-h-i-l-l-y this morning...in the 30s when we left for school! Jessalyn was quite excited to get all of her winter gear out. And she just looked so cute! :)

“Welcome Home, Mommy”

While I was gone on a "Mommy" trip to Virginia Beach
last weekend, Jessalyn made me a sweet card
and a hand-made kite. What a lovely "Welcome Home!"

The card.

Showing off the kite.

Testing her out!

Dinosaurs Beware

Last night Jessalyn decided that we needed a sign for the door warning all dinosaurs to stay away. Seems that her sign works since we haven't had a single dino knocking at our door! :)

Little Cheerleader, Part 2

Since she participated in the cheerleading clinic a few weeks ago, Jessalyn got to cheer at a high school football game! She had a blast. Here's the link to the video. It is a large file, so please be patient if it takes a minute or two to load:
