Yesterday Jessalyn participated in the District Reading Fair. After winning first in the kindergarten category at her school, she advanced to this competition. She dressed as Hairy Maclary and answered questions posed by the judges. She was thrilled to win first place again! Her class project also won first again, and her cousin Russ, was awarded first place for the first grade category! They will all advance to the regional competition to be held in March. Congratulations, everyone!
